The Save Our Schools March in DC today was an electric affair. I'll have lots more to post on the event, which included thousands of teachers standing up for public schools, and speeches by Jonathan Kozol, Diane Ravitch, Linda Darling-Hammond, and many more. Here's an excellent write-up by Valerie Strauss for the Washington Post.
However, it was headliner Matt Damon that drew the loudest screams and the phalanx of national media camera. Here is video that I shot of the A-lister's concise and eloquent ideas about public education.
