You are on to something, Pal: When people say "Teacher Leader," they think curriculum specialist and/or mentor.

They don't think policy wonk.

That's why people like you and I don't fit in all that well. Our interest in the policies that govern our profession are not welcome by the policymakers and not understood/valued/shared by most of our peers.

Odd ducks, indeed!
