Present at a Conference Without Leaving Home!

K12online_badge_2 Are you doing interesting work around 21st Century learning? Engaging your students with digital tools and then pushing them up Bloom's ladder with project- and problem-based teaching strategies?

If so, have we got a conference for you -- and you have until June 23rd to submit a proposal. No money for travel? No problem. If you've got a high-speed Internet connection, you're there.

K12 ONLINE is a no-cost, web-based gathering begun by teachers (including TLN'er Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach) in 2006. Last year, the confab drew 83,000 participants who participated in both live and anytime-you-like events. Numbered among past presenters are the famous (Will Richardson, David Warlick, Vicki Davis) and the just plain smart (maybe you?!). All presentations are archived and available for viewing and reviewing as the years go by.

The 2008 conference with have the theme Amplifying Possibilities, and the organizers are now calling for proposals. The event itself will take place during a two-week window in late October, so you’ll have all summer to get your act together. Proposal deadline: June 23.
