Five Things Policymakers Ought to Know
This post is a little different for Teacher Voices, but it sure has plenty of teacher voices.
Our TLN colleague Nancy Flanagan started a blog "meme" that's getting some legs in edu-blogger world. She proposed that teacher/bloggers share five things they'd like education policymakers to know about their classrooms. Some non-teachers are picking up on the idea, too. Here's a list of the meme responses we've spotted so far:
Teacher in a Strange Land (Nancy Flanagan)
Stories from School (six NBCTs blogging collaboratively)
On the Shoulders of Giants (Ariel Sacks)
2 Cents Worth (David Warlick)
TeachMoore (Renee Moore)
Alice in InfoLand (Alice Yucht)
Professional Thoughts (Cathy Nelson)
The Blue Skunk Blog (Doug Johnson)
TeacherNinja (Jim)
What It's Like on the Inside (The Science Goddess)
Elbows, Knees, Dreams (Kiri)
Epic Adventures Are Often Uncomfortable (Clix)
The Daily Grind (M. McNamar)
Lead from the Start (John Holland)
Lead from the Start (guest blogger Dawnette Fuller)
Don't Put Boogers in Your Neighbor's Cereal (Mrs. Vierkant)
Quasi Dictim (TL)
Add 'em if you spot 'em -- in the Comments.

Thanks for the link! You might want to add Kindergarten Chaos and Organized Chaos, as they both did the meme as well.
