I really appreciate your perspective. My little boys (7 and 5) think nothing is cooler than my sewing machine. They beg me to make things with them so we can use it together. Mechanics and construction with almost instant results: what could be better? Sewing is applied knowledge with a tangible outcome. Would that all of our learning could be gratifying so quickly! Kudos to you and electives and voc-tech for leading the way with engaging curriculum.
